The service
Brooks is a text message based executive function assistant. You communicate with Brooks entirely by SMS, with no app or login required beyond your phone number. By texting Brooks to get started, you agree to these terms.
Free trial and billing
New subscribers get a 14-day free trial, no card required. At the end of the trial, Brooks will text you a payment link if you choose to continue. Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically until canceled. Current pricing is shown at getbrooks.app and in the payment link itself.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time by texting "cancel" to Brooks, then confirming with "confirm cancel." No forms, login, or phone call required. Cancellation takes effect immediately, you will not be charged again, and messaging stops right away.
Messaging terms
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your settings and how often you text Brooks. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of all messages, or HELP for support information. Carrier delivery is not guaranteed and Brooks is not liable for messages delayed or blocked by carriers.
Acceptable use
Brooks is for personal use in managing your own tasks, schedule, and reminders. You agree not to use Brooks for unlawful purposes or to send abusive or harassing messages.
No guarantee of outcomes
Brooks is a support tool, not a medical or therapeutic service, and does not replace professional care. We do our best to provide accurate reminders and responses, but Brooks is not guaranteed to be error free, and you remain responsible for your own commitments and deadlines.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Brooks and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including missed reminders or messaging delays caused by carriers or third party providers outside our control.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Brooks after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated by text or on this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the business operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
